Saran, June 6 2025

Political activities have intensified in the Manjhi Assembly constituency ahead of the upcoming elections. In this context, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Giri, National Chief Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Haldhar Kisan Union and Bihar-Jharkhand State In-Charge, arrived from Noida to campaign in support of Y. V. Giri — the State Vice President of Jan Suraaj and a prospective candidate from the Manjhi constituency.

On Thursday, Dr. Giri visited several villages, including Daudpur, Jaitpur, Naya Tola Jaitpur, and Manpur in Jalalpur, holding extensive interactions with local farmers and villagers.

Addressing the public, Dr. Giri appealed to voters to make thoughtful and introspective decisions before casting their votes. He urged them to conduct a comparative assessment of all the candidates in the fray and listen to their inner conscience. “Every single vote will shape the future of Manjhi. Choose wisely,” he said.

His visit has sparked political discussions in the region, with speculation rife about his possible entry into the Jan Suraaj party. Although Dr. Giri did not make any explicit comment on this matter, his active campaigning and open support for Y. V. Giri have stirred political calculations and debates.

It is noteworthy that Y. V. Giri is a senior advocate at the Patna High Court and has served as the Legal Advisor to the Governor. He is being viewed as a strong and educated alternative from the Manjhi constituency.

Islam never allows hatred!

Islam never allows hatred!

Saran (Bihar) Correspondent Manoj Singh: Education and culture are the main basis of a successful life of a human being and education has the utmost importance in Islam. Maulana Nisar Ahmed Misvahi said this while addressing the annual Urs-e-Pak of Hazrat Jalal Shah Rahmatullah Alaih organized near Mali Tola of Manjhi Nagar Panchayat area on Saturday night.
He said that the first school for children is their mother's lap. Education is incomplete without sanskar. Provided that education should be both religious and cultural equally. Only then can happiness, peace and prosperity be achieved in life. He said that whatever prophecies Hazrat Ali made about the earth or the sky are being confirmed today through science. He said that Islam never allows hatred. Islam is about helping the helpless and destitute, but the present social environment has become based on selfishness, due to which who knows how many of our daughters are being forced to commit suicide. Whatever the religion, daughters are being thrown into the fire of Tilak and dowry. On the other hand, due to poverty, daughters are not able to apply mehandi on their hands. The desire of getting their hands painted yellow is remaining unfulfilled. The age of the daughters is declining. Despite this, people greedy for dowry are standing with open mouths. Poor old fathers are roaming from village to village in temples, mosques and begging for donations so that their daughters can get their hands painted yellow. He appealed to the people present to avoid this monster of dowry.
Here, on the occasion of Urs, the tomb of Hazrat Jalal Shah was decorated beautifully, where a large number of men and women started gathering from the evening itself. The local administration deployed male and female police force at the venue, while the station in-charge Amit Kumar Ram was seen patrolling with the force. The Ulemas and Naat Khans who came by the organization were honored by giving them clothes. People kept on immersing themselves in the Naat of the Prophet throughout the night. On this occasion, hundreds of male and female listeners were present, including Maulana Mufti Sultan Raja, Shahar Islam, Mehboob Gauhar, Maulana Samsuddin, Bilal Raza, Hafiz Amiruddin, Mazhar Hussain, Rafi Ahmed and former chief Akhtar Ali.
